Our team of specialists provide out-patient appointments at Globe Medical, while maintaining in-patient services at local Adelaide CBD and inner metro hospitals.

GastroenterologyDr James Hunt is an experienced gastroenterologist, with special interests in oesophageal and motility disorders, coeliac disease and inflammatory bowel isease, in addition to general gastrtenterology. |
Fees
Note: All specialist appointments require a current referral from your General Practitioner.
Paediatrician Fees
Initial Consultations - An initial 40 minute consultation with our paediatrician attracts $75 out-of-pocket fee ("gap"), which is the amount your incur. It is the difference between our fee and the amount Medicare will rebate you.
Subsequent Consultations - All subsequent 20 minute consultations attract a $50 out-of-pocket-fee.

Gastroenterologist Fees
Initial Consultations - An initial 40 minute consultation with our gastroenterologist attracts $70 out-of-pocket fee ("gap"), which is the amount your incur. It is the difference between our fee and the amount Medicare will rebate you.
Subsequent Consultations - All subsequent 20 minute consultations attract a $35 out-of-pocket-fee.

Note: All in-patient procedures (e.g. colonoscopy, endoscopy etc.) are subject to hospital and procedural fees and may be covered by your private health insurance. Please check with your private health insurer regarding any annual hospital gap payment.
