Dr Kath Jamieson has worked in General Practice for a number of years now, with the enjoyment of being able to continually help manage the broad spectrum of health and life-event challenges. This is the product of her own variety of life experiences.
She started as a physiotherapist in Sydney before moving into residential care and management of adults with developmental disability. She then went on to study medicine in Adelaide and as a doctor obtain a variety of hospital work experience. This included the bonus of travel with the position as a Senior House Officer in Leytonstone, East London before returning to Adelaide to focus on General Practice and the birth of her first child.
She enjoys life balance with bushwalking, cycling, films and jazz music. She promotes participation in team sports for her children (netball, cricket, football, mountain bike riding) with diligent transport juggling! She is also currently attending sessions to renew competence with AUSLAN.
