Psychology - Fees

To determine your eligibility for psychological services which may attract a Medicare rebate, you will FIRST need to arrange an appointment with one of our general practitioners. They will then assess the general nature of your problems and work with you to decide upon what is the best approach to take. Fees do vary, depending upon the type of Psychology professional you see. This is why your general practitioner can assist you to select the appropriate professional, based on consideration of your individual requirements.

Psychology services - 1 hour consultation

^ In order to receive a Medicare rebate, you must be referred to a psychologist by an appropriate medical practitioner (GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician). The doctor must first make an assessment that you need the services of a psychologist. If you are already seeing a psychologist, discuss this with your doctor.
