

























Dr. Madeline TurnbullBiography/ BackgroundDr Madeline Turnbull is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Travel Medicine. She joined our team in 2007 and splits her working week between General Practice at Hyde Park Medical Centre and General Practice/Travel Medicine with us. QualificationsBachelor of Science (Genetics, Physiology; University of Adelaide) Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Flinders University of South Australia) Fellow, Royal Australian College of General Practitioners ExperienceMadeline completed her qualifications in Adelaide, with her post-graduate training at Flinders Medical Centre and through Sturt-Fleurieu General Practice Education and Training. She has worked at a number of excellent General Practices across Adelaide and rural South Australia, and prides herself on providing holistic, quality care in general practice. Madeline developed an interest in Travel Medicine after a holiday to South America and Antarctica. She has also travelled to South East Asia, Europe, UK and North America. She has attended a number of courses and continuing education programs, including attending the prestigious London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a world leader in clinical practice and education in Travel Medicine. She is mentored by Dr Bob Kass and Dr Maggie Phillips, both highly experienced practitioners in the field of Travel Medicine. Teaching and Research InterestsMadeline enjoys her contribution to the education and training of junior doctors and medical students through mentoring and clinical teaching. Professional AssociationsMadeline is an Alumni of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Madeline is also a Clinical Examiner for Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is committed to maintaining the high standard of General Practice in Australia. |
