

























Dr. Badrul MudaBiography / BackgroundDr Badrul Muda joined Globe Medical in 2008 as one of our full time General Practitioners. He brought with him a high level of clinical skills and a special interest in dermatology, including excisions and biopsies. Having come to Australia himself as an international student from Malaysia, he has a special empathy for our international patients. He is on the examiner panel for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is highly regarded by colleagues for having extensive clinical competencies. QualificationsBachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Flinders University of South Australia) Certificate of Dermatology (Monash University) Fellow of the Australian College of Remote and Rural Medicine Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners ExperienceAfter completing his medical degree in Adelaide, Badrul returned to Malaysia and undertook his Internship followed by rotations in obstetrics, orthopoedics, ear, nose and throat, general surgery and anaesthetics. Extra study in emergency medicine was followed by work as an Emergency Registrar in Westmead, Sydney. Deciding on a career in General Practice, Badrul spent the next decade working in rural Victoria, and then in Goolwa and Mount Compass in rural South Australia. Before joining our team, he worked in the Adelaide northern suburbs. Teaching and Research InterestsBadrul is a Supervisor and Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He maintains a special interest in both paediatric medicine and skin care. |
